Maintenance Technician II Job Description

LGSTX Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial or commercial maintenance work and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities components and systems
  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
  • Operate various equipment, including fabrication/welding, and conduit and wiring installation and demolition
  • Develop work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets
  • Coordinate with operations and locate parts/tools for repair
  • Ensure all equipment is kept in the highest possible state of repair and appearance
  • Act as a liaison between LGSTX Services and contractors on maintenance, modifications, and operations of equipment
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of verifiable prior work experience with industrial or commercial maintenance work as a maintenance technician or mechanic
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision and/or as part of a team
  • Two to four years of formal approved technical training, apprenticeship, or schooling in industrial or commercial maintenance to include mechanical and electrical
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn relevant company software programs
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Technician II will be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
