Job Description

The Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring accurate data entry in the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and supervising forklift operators and truck drivers to meet daily work schedules. This role requires strong planning and organizational skills, as well as experience with manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS).

Responsibilities
  • Inventories: Ensure that transportation-related activities are completed accurately, and customer orders ship out completely with no exceptions.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input data into the WMS system.
  • Inventory Control: Manage warehouse space, ensure accurate reporting, and implement logistics and supply chain best practices.
  • Team Management: Supervise employees, investigate errors, and resolve issues related to product quality, shipping errors, or delivery issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in logistics operations or a related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Record of successful leadership and experience in process design, implementation, and improvement.
