Key Responsibilities
- Administer quality healthcare services in accordance with established medical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on patient assessments.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted medical license from the Medical Board of California.
- Board certification or eligibility in the relevant medical specialty is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including residency training.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Current DEA registration for prescribing medications is essential.
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center or community health setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in managing a primary care patient panel.
