Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications utilizing ReactJS and NodeJS, backed by MongoDB databases.
  • Utilize the ArcGIS JavaScript API to create interactive map-based applications.
  • Develop systems that seamlessly integrate with third-party APIs.
  • Create responsive web applications and interfaces optimized for both mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Enhance and develop custom components within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Contribute to shared JavaScript libraries available through NPM.
  • Implement high-fidelity designs as provided by our UI/UX team.
  • Integrate applications with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, and other components of our marketing technology stack.
  • Engage in collaborative development practices, including pair programming.
  • Adopt Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and write unit tests to ensure compliance with functional specifications.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and collaborate with quality assurance (QA) teams.
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold team coding standards and quality.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in implementing visual designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, GIS, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in debugging and enhancing legacy systems.
  • Expertise in building APIs and RESTful services with NodeJS.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.
  • Experience in developing front-end interfaces using component-based frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or VueJS.
  • Proficient in writing unit tests and applying Test Driven Development (TDD) principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and experience with the ArcGIS JavaScript API.
  • Experience managing high-traffic websites.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and experience within a marketing context.
