As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating various machinery in the sheeting cell, playing a vital role in ensuring product quality and availability.
  • Rotating between the sheeter, guillotine machine, and jogging equipment.
  • Managing the sheeting process by retrieving base materials, configuring the sheeting machine to meet specifications, and preparing for subsequent operations.
  • Executing guillotine tasks, which involve cutting sheets to precise dimensions and conducting quality assessments.
  • Performing jogging duties that require safely lifting stacks of sheets to the necessary height for guillotine processing.
  • Preparing materials and products for packaging and distribution.
  • Utilizing RF scanning technology to track the movement of materials.
  • Operating both motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
  • Emphasizing teamwork and effective communication throughout all operations.
  • Adhering to safety protocols in a production environment.

Qualifications:

  • Capability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary, including weekends.
  • We are eager to evaluate candidates and initiate the interview process.
