Job Summary

Medcor Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Physician to provide comprehensive medical services at our on-site clinic in Normal, IL. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide episodic and urgent care, limited primary care, diagnosis, and treatment of workers' compensation injuries and illnesses
  • Conduct regulatory exams and preventive services
  • Manage basic point-of-care lab work and limited prescription dispensing
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals, including PAs and NPs
  • Develop and implement practice plans, including collaboration agreements
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Requirements
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in Illinois state
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine
  • Experience in orthopedic injuries and urgent care/primary care
  • Current BLS certification
  • Positive outlook and collaborative team player
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Occupational health and Workers' Compensation experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical leadership experience
  • Managed care experience
  • Comfortable working with computers and EMR software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
