We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping troubled youth and families achieve lasting success. Our team of 3,000 individuals works across 15 states to provide intensive counseling and treatment services to youth with severe emotional and behavioral problems.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families, working closely with them to address their unique needs and challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families
  • Manage a small case load of four to six families to provide quality counseling
  • Meet with youth and families three times weekly to address each family's needs
  • Provide after-hours support to youth and families utilizing a rotating on-call schedule
  • Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to achieve the success of the youth
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social services field (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in social services field (required)
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position (clinical experience preferred)
  • Willingness to maintain an untraditional schedule
  • Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation
  • Acceptable driving record (three or fewer moving violations within the past 36 months)
