Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families, working closely with them to address their unique needs and challenges.
Responsibilities- Provide in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families
- Manage a small case load of four to six families to provide quality counseling
- Meet with youth and families three times weekly to address each family's needs
- Provide after-hours support to youth and families utilizing a rotating on-call schedule
- Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to achieve the success of the youth
- Master's degree in social services field (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in social services field (required)
- Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position (clinical experience preferred)
- Willingness to maintain an untraditional schedule
- Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation
- Acceptable driving record (three or fewer moving violations within the past 36 months)
- Medical, dental, prescription drug coverage, and vision
