Dickson Health and Rehab, a leading healthcare provider in Dickson, TN, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geriatric Care Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on national averages for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) roles in the region.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a Senior Geriatric Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in our clinical team, assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while also monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide total care to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living, such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, as well as conduct range of motion as needed.
  • Observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior to the healthcare team.
  • maintain confidentiality and follow Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements while upholding our facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
  • Current Tennessee certification/registration to practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  • Desire to work with the elderly.
