Cummins-Wagner Co Inc is seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for calling on various entities that influence the specification and purchase of products marketed by Cummins-Wagner.
The ideal candidate will possess superior communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as a customer-focused attitude and ability to build relationships. A Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferred, and the candidate must be able to pass background and reference checks, as well as a drug test.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a CRM database of key personnel at all accounts
- Conduct regular product training sessions with various influencers at end users
- Keep the sales department informed of upcoming projects at target accounts
- Act as liaison between end users and Cummins-Wagner customers
- Assist sales management in tracking job quotes
- Establish a regular call plan that maximizes the use of time
- Submit call reports weekly, following the same schedule as expense reporting
