Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Academic and Training Director to join our team at CALIBRE Systems Inc. as the Dean of Academics and Training Operations. This is a senior-level leadership position that requires a strong background in education and training, as well as excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Training Programs: Design, develop, and implement training programs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead a Team of Trainers: Supervise and lead a team of trainers and instructional designers to ensure that training programs are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Manage Training Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the training department, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders, including clients, subject matter experts, and other team members to ensure that training programs meet their needs and expectations.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in education and training.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as education, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Senior Leadership Experience: At least 3-5 years of senior leadership experience in a training or education setting.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to Travel: Ability to travel as needed to support training programs and meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in a Relevant Field: A Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as education or instructional design.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems: Experience with learning management systems, such as Moodle or Blackboard.
  • Experience with Adult Learning Theory: Experience with adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
Security Requirements

The Dean of Academics and Training Operations must possess and retain a SECRET security clearance as a condition of employment and retention. Failure to maintain a SECRET security clearance will be grounds to terminate employment.
