National Sales Manager for Lighting Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled National Sales Manager to join our team at LED Connection. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence nationally.
Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales budgets. This will involve establishing a network of Lighting Agents and Electrical Distributors, identifying and targeting potential market segments, and conducting market analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscapes.
You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both new and existing clients across various sectors, including electrical distributors, lighting agents, architecture, engineering, and lighting design.
Additionally, you will manage national sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, and utilize CRM systems to track sales leads, customer interactions, and progress towards goals.
Travel will be required to review projects, present the company and products, and attend events and trade shows across the United States.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales budgets.
- Establish a network of Lighting Agents and Electrical Distributors.
- Identify and target potential market segments to introduce and sell LED Connection products and services.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Manage national sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales leads, customer interactions, and progress towards goals.
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales role, ideally within the lighting or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb leadership skills.
- Extensive experience working with electrical distributors, lighting agents, architects, engineers, lighting designers, and general contractors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel across the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
