Job Title: Cytotechnologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at NR Consulting. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating and reporting on negative gynecological cases, as well as interpreting abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and report on negative gynecological cases, and interpret abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological, and fine needle aspiration cases.
  • Identify diagnostic material and refer cases to pathologists as needed.
  • Provide technical advice and perform cytopreparation and processing as required.
  • Maintain records of screening slide counts and other activities.
  • Assist in gathering data relevant to quality assurance activities, continuous improvement activities, and other special projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences, and successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-accredited Cytotechnology program.
  • CT (ASCP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent hospital-based experience.
