Job Title: Maintenance Technician IIJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
  • Conduct daily and weekly inspections of mechanical spaces, tenant/public areas, roofs, and building grounds to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond to service calls and requests from tenants and building management, providing timely and effective solutions to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and education, ensuring that our facilities remain safe, efficient, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.

Work Environment

The Maintenance Technician II will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The position requires the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions. The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, with the ability to stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods.
