This position provides direct resident care and promotes their comfort and well-being, while respecting their rights as individuals. As a valuable member of our nursing team, you will demonstrate professional conduct and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance of residents' nutritional needs
  • Maintain or assist with restoration of normal bowel and bladder function
  • Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition
  • Understand the psychological needs of residents and provide support
  • Practice infection control principles and maintain a safe environment
  • Demonstrate interest in professional growth and development
  • Practice principles of rehabilitation and support residents in achieving their goals
  • Responsible for employee injury prevention and follows safety rules
Qualifications

CNA Certification listed as current in the NYS Registry

CNA certification status must be without findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property

Verification of this Registry will be filed in the Human Resource Department
