Position Overview:

Your contribution is vital to enhancing the overall client experience and ensuring the long-term success of the Rural Living Solutions department.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of loan applications to verify accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is provided and appropriate supporting documentation is included for credit decisions.
  • Initiate the process of ordering initial loan estimates, homeowners insurance (if applicable), appraisals, title searches, flood certifications, and more.
  • Review and proof information from third-party sources, lending officers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient loan closures.
  • Maintain communication with lending officers and clients to gather any missing documents and information.
  • Prepare loan files for initial and final underwriting reviews, as well as for delivery to the closing department.
  • Address client inquiries via phone or email regarding loans in process, guidelines, and general processing questions.
  • Utilize Compeer systems (such as Encompass, Blend, Salesforce, SharePoint, etc.) and workflows to accurately enter, review, and amend data for each loan file from application through to closing.
  • Collaborate with lending officers to effectively execute and complete change requests, updating documentation with third-party information such as additional inspections, appraisal fee adjustments, and title fees.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED; secondary education is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a loan processing or support role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the mortgage loan process and related regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Adaptable and flexible in response to changing situations.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve objectives and represent the business effectively.
