Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence, including the preparation of Quality of Earnings reports, to provide clients with a deep understanding of their financial performance.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to clients, including financial accounting matters, business processes, and deal structuring.
  • Lead multiple transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence assistance to clients and private equity investors.
  • Cultivate relationships with senior executives at client companies and private equity sponsors to drive business development and generate new projects and leads.
  • Manage and coordinate the approach of clients, engagement teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout the transaction process.
  • Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and potential liabilities and risks that impact valuation and negotiation.
  • Create tailored transaction advisory reports to address key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, and indebtedness considerations.
  • Lead, mentor, and professionally develop team members, actively participating in the career advisory and performance review process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in a client-serving role at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, or private industry experience at a senior level.
  • Prior financial due diligence experience.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a strong and up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Experience in client advisory on financial accounting issues and an understanding of significant business events, such as mergers, acquisitions, and carve-outs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification.
