About the Job

The U.S. Army is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Military Police. As a Military Police, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and regulations on Army installations, protecting lives and property, and responding to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct law enforcement patrols to maintain order and security on Army installations.
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to support investigations.
  • Interview witnesses, victims, and suspects to gather information and build cases.
  • Arrest and charge individuals who have committed crimes.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a Green Card holder.
  • Must complete the ASVAB test to identify strengths and suitable Army jobs.
Training and Development

As a Military Police, you will undergo 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training and on-the-job instruction in police methods. This training will cover basic warrior skills, use of firearms, military and civil laws, and traffic and crowd control.

  • Interest in law enforcement and public service.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
