Job Summary

This role requires the ability to perform various responsibilities in a safe, accurate, and timely manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Pull, scan, and stage product accurately for shipping
  • Ability to scan pick slip into warehouse database and update to appropriate status
  • Ability to use RF equipment to pick sale orders using varied operating systems
  • Stage freight in designated areas
  • Ability to inspect and operate various types of power equipment
  • Willingness to be cross-trained to perform other functions such as receiving and checking
  • Responsibility for maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Other duties assigned
Additional Job Details
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • 1-2 years successful warehouse/distribution experience
  • Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks

Skills:
Must have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a timely manner; ability to respond and re-prioritize as customer service needs dictate.

Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization to include customer service, sales, finance, employees, and managers via phone, email, etc.

Regular attendance is essential.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position requires sitting, walking, stooping, bending, talking in person and by phone or video, visual acuity; the stamina to work the shift as scheduled and on a regular basis, ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility with exposure to heat and/or cold in accordance with weather conditions, lifting large, small, or awkwardly shaped items on a regular or repeated basis as needed; extensive use of computer or other electronics equipment.
