Job Title: Thoracic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Thoracic Surgeon to join our team at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. As a Faculty Thoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring residents and medical students, and contributing to the advancement of thoracic surgery research.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex thoracic surgeries, including benign and malignant lung, esophageal, mediastinal, and chest wall surgery
  • Develop and implement minimally invasive thoracic surgery techniques
  • Teach and mentor cardiothoracic surgery residents, general surgery residents, and medical students
  • Contribute to the development of clinical and research programs in thoracic surgery
Requirements:
  • MD/DO degree
  • Board certification in Thoracic Surgery
  • Ability to obtain a NC medical license
  • Commitment to excellence and a reputation for compassion, fairness, and objectivity
  • Exceptional communication skills and dedication to teamwork
