Key Responsibilities- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and situation, utilizing age and culturally sensitive practices to prioritize and optimize patient flow.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues, identifying expected outcomes for individualized patient plans.
- Implement, coordinate, and educate to promote health and a safe practice environment, evaluating progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Communicate effectively in various formats, demonstrating leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Attain knowledge and competence that reflect current nursing practice, applying the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to emergency nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- One year of registered nurse experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, and/or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
