Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote a culture of safety.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to deliver patient-centered care and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • At least one year of experience in clinical nursing, preferably in an emergency department setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems and computerized documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
