Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Operations Manager to join our team at DTE Energy. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our coke making facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Management: Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of maintenance personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, PLC programming, and instrumentation. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
