Core Responsibilities:

  • Examine billing processes within clinical departments, assess results, and relay updates to relevant parties.
  • Provide recommendations for operational enhancements to boost payment efficiency.
  • Create educational programs and resources regarding billing protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop guidelines to address issues related to denied claims and enhance revenue collection.
  • Keep abreast of payer policies and communicate any modifications effectively.
  • Perform coding audits, ensure adherence to regulations, and oversee reimbursement initiatives.
  • Lead a team, manage staff performance, and maximize productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or a related discipline.
  • CPC certification with comprehensive knowledge of coding systems and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Epic software is highly regarded.
