We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Hospitality Partner to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key liaison between support services and clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience in the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Environmental Services, Food & Nutrition, and other support departments to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment in the ED waiting areas, public restrooms, and Admit Pending Units.
- Monitor and serve meals to patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Interview and round on patients to discuss key service lines, including Environmental Services, Food & Nutrition, and Patient Dining.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with clinical staff and Nursing Operations Manager within the Emergency Department, assisting in decluttering the ED and ensuring a smooth patient flow.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
