Job Overview:
The Culinary Server/Prep is tasked with preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and executing basic cooking tasks as directed by the menu.

This role includes serving food and ensuring proper clean-up after meals.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook food items following recipes, daily menus, and guidance from supervisors.

2. Regularly check food temperatures and maintain adequate food supplies while minimizing waste.

3. Present food attractively for serving; ensure all food items are properly arranged.4. Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude when interacting with patrons and team members. Take and fulfill customer orders efficiently and courteously.5. Clean and sanitize counters, equipment, and work areas regularly.
6. Replenish and manage inventory of food items and supplies in serving areas.
7. Cook short order items and assist with basic food preparation tasks.
8. Support kitchen sanitation efforts and adhere to cleaning schedules.
9. Assist with inventory loading and unloading tasks.
10. Stay vigilant regarding safety protocols and report any concerns to management.

Qualifications:
Partial High School education is required; a High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred.
Food Safety Certification is essential. Strong sanitation practices are necessary.
Demonstrated customer service skills; actively seeks opportunities to assist customers and colleagues. Ability to identify and communicate issues to management.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
Frequent movement within the unit to complete tasks. Ability to bend, lift, carry, and reach overhead regularly, adapting to a dynamic work environment. Capable of lifting and carrying weights up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and navigate stairs regularly. Ability to work in varying temperature conditions in kitchen areas.
Proficient in reading and writing work-related documents in English.

Effective verbal communication skills, including the ability to understand and be understood by customers and coworkers.

Regular communication with team members in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential.
Physical presence at the job site is crucial for performing job duties.
Equipment Utilized:
Commercial kitchen machinery, appliances, tools, and utensils.
