- Capability to comprehend and follow instructions related to cleaning products.
- Proficient in the safe and efficient use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
*Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive room assignments from the Supervisor at the start of each shift.
- Ensure your cleaning cart is fully stocked and ready for use.
- Understand the proper protocol for entering guest rooms.
- Position your cart appropriately when entering a room to maintain efficiency.
- Follow a systematic approach for cleaning both occupied and vacated rooms to ensure thoroughness.
- Inspect rooms for any damages to furniture or equipment.
- Promptly report any damages or missing items to your Supervisor.
- Return any found items from guest rooms to Lost and Found, documenting the date, location found, and your name.
- Notify the Housekeeping team regarding the status of the room, indicating whether it is clean and occupied or vacant.
- At the end of your shift, restock your cart and dispose of any trash and soiled linens to prepare for the next day.
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information as needed.
- Report any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to the Safety/Security Department.
- Offer guidance for guest and employee safety during emergencies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by your Supervisor.
