About the Role

Lime is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of shared electric vehicles and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Operations Specialists and Senior Operations Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality performance.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
  • Operate a van for several hours a day to assist with the deployment and retrieval of Lime electric vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Interact with the local community, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Address and resolve issues related to city requests, stickers, reflectors, and other minor issues as outlined by Lime's established service level agreements.
  • Maintain effective communication with the team, including peers, shift leads, and managers, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Participate in Lime events, providing support with valet services, staging, and conducting safety reviews, while ensuring the cleanliness of our vehicles.
  • Support battery management operations, ensuring accurate documentation and quality checks are completed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on our vehicles, identifying and completing small repairs, including brake adjustments and tire inflation.
  • Monitor designated zones, conducting on-foot patrols to ensure vehicle parking compliance and tidiness in accordance with city requests.
  • Detect and report uncommon situations related to on-the-ground service and product.
  • Occasionally assist customers in the field, providing support related to Lime vehicles.
  • Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles.
  • May operate a pallet jack or push cart as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar position, leading and coaching others.
  • An understanding of workforce management to help Ops Management ensure efficient staffing.
  • Experience in a similar position with knowledge of the local geography.
  • Ability to drive large vans and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 65lbs/35kg on a frequent basis.
  • Knowledge of cell phone applications, with iOS experience preferred.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience safely operating a pallet jack or push cart.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform quick and efficient repairs.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage daily tasks.
  • A safety-oriented mindset, capable of conducting rigorous quality checks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with team members, riders, and city officials.

This is a contracted position that will be hired, managed, and compensated through a third-party employer. The hourly rate for this position is $22.00-$24.00. This position is not eligible for benefits through Lime as this is a contract position.
