Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Interim HealthCare. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and families in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to children and adolescents, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, including vital signs, medical histories, and social determinants of health.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state associated with this position.
  • Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
  • Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
  • Practical trach and/or ventilator experience preferred, not required.
