Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to support the academic and social success of students in Grosse Pointe, MI.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities and identify areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals and needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on speech articulation, language development, social communication, and fluency.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create supportive learning environments.
- Monitor and document student progress, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and objectives for students with speech and language disorders.
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support their child's communication development at home and in school.
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Michigan state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for new graduates.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
