Job Summary

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Production team as Production Associates. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our poultry processing facility. You will contribute to the production process by performing various tasks within different areas of the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively in diverse areas of the poultry processing plant, including first processing, deboning, and second processing.
  • Adapt to a rotating schedule, working in different positions on production lines or across various departments.
  • Maintain a consistent pace to ensure efficient production flow and meet daily output targets.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all established protocols and procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality, upholding company policies and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Previous experience in poultry or meat processing is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements

  • The work environment may be cold, damp, and wet, with temperatures ranging from 40 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • You will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • This role involves standing and walking for the entirety of your shift.
  • Exposure to varying noise levels is expected.
  • Lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting are essential tasks. You may also need to climb stairs frequently.
  • Be prepared for exposure to strong raw and rendering odors, as well as spice and chemical odors.
  • The ability to safely handle sharp tools such as knives and scissors is required.
