Job Title: Mammography Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

The Mammography Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing mammography studies, requiring independent judgment, extended knowledge, and expertise to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to a positive work environment through interactions with other staff, maintains positive work relationships.
  • Responds promptly and courteously to requests and inquiries, keeps other staff and patients informed.
  • Accepts criticism, is open to new ideas, and handles conflict constructively and diplomatically.
  • Performs mammographic radiologic exams, adjusts equipment, positions patients, and reviews images for quality and completeness.
  • Obtains accurate medical history on each patient.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and graduation from an accredited JRCERT Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Certification required; ARRT(M). Mammography certified within two years of employment.
  • Minimum of six months of experience.
