Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Guthrie Clinic. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients. You will also supervise and instruct students in the clinical areas, ensuring they receive comprehensive training in radiologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Supervise and instruct students in the clinical areas
  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including adjusting equipment settings and positioning patients
  • Accurately label and process radiographic images
  • Provide patient care activities, including informed consent and injection of IV contrast
  • Work collaboratively with other technologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to maintain high standards in Radiology
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning and restocking rooms, and transporting portable equipment
Requirements
  • Graduation of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT certification within 6 months of employment
  • NYS Radiologic Technologist License or NYS Radiologic Technologist Temporary Permit required for positions in New York State
  • Minimum of six months preferred experience as a registered technologist in a Radiology Department of a general acute-care hospital
