Job Summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our Emergency Trauma Center team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of dedicated nurses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nurses in the Emergency Trauma Center, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among staff members.
  • Participate in performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or have a BSN within three years of job acceptance.
  • Current RN licensure with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit.
  • 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probation period.
  • ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications or complete courses within one year of hire date.
