Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Coordinator for Physical Therapy to join our team at the University of New Mexico. This is a full-time, regular staff position that will work closely with program faculty, staff, and students to meet the needs of the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the academic unit.
  • Coordinate the recruitment, intake, and provision of administrative services to students.
  • Oversee scheduling and provide associated support services to faculty and staff.
  • Assist in special events, scheduling, ordering supplies, taking meeting minutes, and managing social media accounts for the division.
  • Configure and manage databases, compile and prepare reports for internal leadership and external agencies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with students and faculty in a graduate-level program.
  • Experience with UNM Purchasing, including ChromeRiver and LoboMart.
