Job Description

As a Behavioral Health Specialist at Alivation Health, LLC, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our medical team.

You will have the chance to work collaboratively with our Chief Medical Officer and Psychiatrist to develop patient relationships and provide comprehensive treatment management plans.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency care for patients
  2. Manage patient medication and educate on prescription effects and side effects
  3. Complete patient-related administrative and clinical documentation
  4. Confer with patients, families, agencies, and pharmacies regarding patient care
  5. Utilize multi-specialty services within the clinic
  6. Demonstrate critical thinking and function under stressful situations
  7. Demonstrate adaptability to changing work demands
  8. Demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills
  9. Demonstrate competence in Continuing Medical Education activities
Requirements
  • Master of Physician Assistant Degree Required
  • Current Nebraska Physician Assistant License (State Registry Good Standing) Required
  • Successful Completion of An Approved Physician Assistant Program Required
  • Current DEA License Registration
  • NCCPA Certification Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferred or In Process
  • Proficient Medical Terminology
  • Familiar with EMR & PM Systems
  • Familiar with Microsoft Platforms
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two Years Direct Behavioral Brain or Primary Care Specialty Patient Care Experience in High-Volume Clinic Setting
