About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at GEI Consultants. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on complex projects, collaborating with senior engineers, and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering support on a variety of projects, including building superstructures, foundation design, bridges, and excavation support systems.
  • Support evaluation and design efforts for structural steel, reinforced concrete, dams, and other above and below grade structures.
  • Assist with feasibility studies and technical analysis to evaluate various building structural systems, construction methods, and foundation options.
  • Use geotechnical and structural software to perform various analyses, including limit-state-equilibrium analyses and finite element analyses.
  • Perform non-destructive testing and instrument installation to monitor building movement and construction activities.
Requirements
  • M.S. or PhD in Structural Engineering from an accredited college.
  • 5-10 years of Structural Engineering experience.
  • Possess or have ability to obtain professional registrations.
  • Familiarity with analysis and design software (e.g., ENERCALC, Mathcad, SAP2000, STAAD, RISA).
  • Familiarity with drafting software (e.g., Revit, Civil3D, Microstation).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work in the field as needed.
