Job Title: Referral Coordinator

The Dimock Center is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our team. As a Referral Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating referrals and authorizations in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process all diagnostic, specialty, and miscellaneous referral requests from providers using ECW.
  • Obtain authorization for referrals and schedule appointments accurately and in accordance with established department-specific guidelines.
  • Verify eligibility of benefits and make reminder calls for all appointments scheduled.
  • Generate reports as required for department services and maintain all referrals in an appropriate database.
  • Photocopy, fax, and scan all referrals materials as required and electronically input referrals data as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required.
  • At least 2-3 years demonstrated experience in an ambulatory environment required.
