Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a contract position in Grand Rapids, MN.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to deliver effective instruction.
- Adapt and modify curriculum and materials to meet the unique learning needs of students.
- Provide direct instruction, interventions, and support services to students with disabilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders about student progress and needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other required meetings.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid MN Special Education Teaching License.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with emotional, behavioral, and cognitive disabilities.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
