Make-Ready Technician/Detailer – Automotive Dealership

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide training and support to fellow make-ready and detailing technicians
  • Manage inventory and procure necessary make-ready supplies
  • Serve as a communication link between department personnel and sales managers to streamline processes for new and pre-owned vehicles
  • Detail customer vehicles as required
  • Adhere strictly to dealership policies regarding vehicle care and operation
  • Document any damage and inform service personnel to initiate claims within 24 hours
  • Conduct quality control checks on all vehicles prior to their presentation on the sales floor
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure timely vehicle deliveries
  • Participate in departmental meetings

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required; 1 to 3 months of relevant experience and/or training is preferred. Candidates with a combination of education and experience will also be considered.

Compensation

Compensation is determined based on experience and is competitive with leading companies in the industry.
