Job Overview

Our esteemed client is launching a new powder coating operation and is in search of skilled powder coating specialists to join their team. These roles are direct hire opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for powder coating through cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
  • Utilize airless paint spraying equipment to apply powder coating on metal surfaces.
  • Ensure adequate coverage and thickness of the powder coating.
  • Monitor and modify equipment settings to achieve optimal results.
  • Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance and perform necessary touch-ups or rework.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Working Hours:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM


Required Skills:
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with welding, machining, and materials handling is beneficial.
  • Experience in operating a crane is a plus.

Education:

No formal degree is required.


Experience:

1-4 years of relevant experience.


Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in powder coating.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with power tools.
  • Experience in assembling and disassembling parts and components.
  • Skilled in airless paint spraying techniques for powder coating application.
  • Able to interpret work orders and follow instructions with precision.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality control.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot equipment issues.
