Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Duties:

* Powder coat metal items for individuals and companies
* Learn, refine, and excel at providing our customers a flawless product
* Prep parts for powder coating including the following: Media Blasting, Stripping, Grinding, Sanding, Masking, and Cleaning metal parts * Hang parts on racks * Load and unload metal parts to/from cars, trucks and trailers * Package finished product in foam or clear wrap
* Blasting is done within a blast room with air conditioned equipment, or done standing at a blast cabinet

* Work together to keep shop clean and organized
* Other duties as assigned
* Training with our procedures and on our equipment will be provided

Requirements:

* Powder Coating experience required; Prep and Media Blasting experience preferred; General fabrication shop experience helpful

* Must be able to lift and move 50 + pound objects frequently daily * Must be able to lift and move 100 + pound objects with assistance daily - We work with metal items that can be heavy and sometimes it will take two people to move. Very large / heavy items are moved by forklift so driving a forklift would be a preferred skill, or training will be provided
* Attention to detail is essential as high quality is required
* Quality check parts before they move on to the next phase * Meet deadlines
* Work as a team with others * High School Graduate / GED or higher preferred * Reliable Transportation * Minimum Age: 18
