Job Summary:

The Salvation Army is seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at our Covina Store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales floor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, folding and hanging merchandise, and sweeping and mopping floors.
  3. Assist with sales floor operations by processing transactions, handling customer returns, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  4. Sort and process donations in accordance with Salvation Army standards.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
