Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and orderliness within our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities

The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas, including:

  • Main entrance and reception area
  • Warehouse and restrooms
  • Stairs and hallways
  • Offices and cubicles
  • Break room

Cleaning Duties

1. Dusting: Regular dusting of horizontal surfaces, furniture, and equipment.

2. Vacuuming and Mopping: Daily vacuuming of carpets and damp mopping of hard floors.

3. Glass Cleaning: Ensuring all glass surfaces are clean and free of smudges.

4. Trash Management: Emptying trash containers and maintaining cleanliness around them.

5. Restroom Sanitation: Comprehensive cleaning of restrooms, including replenishing supplies.

Additional Responsibilities

Ensuring that all cleaning products are used safely and effectively, adhering to security protocols, and performing additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with cleaning products and equipment
