Key Responsibilities:

Governance Framework:

Develop and implement a robust governance framework for project delivery, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor project performance and compliance with agreed-upon project methodologies, policies, and procedures.

Project Oversight:

Provide governance oversight for ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and in compliance with agreed scope and quality.

Identify potential risks related to project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.

Risk Management:

Ensure effective risk and issue management processes are in place, escalating major risks to senior stakeholders when necessary.

Stakeholder Management:

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery is in line with governance standards.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure projects adhere to internal and external audit and compliance requirements.

Performance Reporting:

Develop and deliver regular performance reports on governance and compliance metrics to senior management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on experience in IT consulting or high-ticket IT professional services.
  • At least 7+ years of experience leading, managing, and growing high-performing project delivery or governance roles.
  • Experience working with large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate actionable insights from data.
