POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate serves as a key representative of the Love's Travel Stops brand, acting as a brand ambassador within the travel stop environment. This role is focused on providing membership opportunities to drivers as they engage in their daily activities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain a visible presence with customers to foster engagement.
  • Quickly assess client needs upon entry, delivering concise presentations while highlighting product and service features and benefits.
  • Quote prices and effectively close sales.
  • Achieve or surpass a monthly sales target of 15 memberships and fuel card offerings.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints by delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and implement necessary strategic adjustments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience: Familiarity with the trucking industry is advantageous.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. Candidates should be highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented sales environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, the employee may be required to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. The role may involve using hands to handle objects, reaching with arms, climbing stairs, and maintaining balance. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


SCHEDULE:

Work hours will be assigned by the Field Sales Manager, not exceeding 30 hours per week.
