Job Overview
The Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist will oversee the implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes in alignment with NIST 800-37, ICD 503, and Department of Defense (DoD) standards.

This position entails the preparation, evaluation, and submission of cybersecurity documentation, ensuring that all systems are secure, functional, and compliant with applicable regulations.

The Specialist will also take on the role of a systems administrator, providing technical assistance for various IT systems and devices.


Key Responsibilities:
RMF Oversight
Manage RMF processes to ensure compliance with NIST 800-37, ICD 503, and DoD standards.


Prepare, evaluate, and submit essential Cybersecurity/Information Assurance documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures, Body of Evidence (BoE) documentation, Authority To Connect (ATC), and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.

Systems Administration
Act as the systems administrator, configuring and managing systems to maintain security and operational efficiency.

Review audit logs to detect potential security vulnerabilities.

Technical Assistance
Image and configure workstations.

Assist with technical issues related to systems or peripherals.

Install fiber and CAT5/6 network cables.

Troubleshoot computers, cabling, Voice over IP devices, printers, multi-function devices, and video teleconferencing (VTC) equipment.

COMSEC and SCIF Support
Assist in resolving issues related to communications security (COMSEC) devices.

Support the accreditation and maintenance of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).

Network and System Maintenance
Ensure systems remain operational, compliant, and active on necessary networks.

Conduct security scans and apply necessary patches.

Set up and operate VTC equipment.

Reporting and Documentation
Provide status reports to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Project Manager.

Create and update network diagrams, floor layouts, and other documentation as needed.
