About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer Intern to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a Cybersecurity Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various technical projects associated with our core mission, including the development and implementation of secure systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of secure systems and networks
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses
• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect against cyber threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline
• Strong understanding of engineering technology and security principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
