Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Advocate Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.

Requirements
  • Licensure
    • Nurse, Registered (RN)
  • Education/Experience Required
    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
    • Good communication skills
    • Good computer skills
    • Good time management and organizational skills
    • Familiarity with patient care equipment
    • Current Illinois RN license
    • Current CPR
    • Certifications/education required for the nursing specialty
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to respond quickly to patient needs. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and to transport objects, patients, and equipment as needed.

The work environment includes the probability of exposure to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for the sick. The incumbent must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster and to respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit.
