Position Overview
The Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System is seeking a talented Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our team in a wonderful outpatient/inpatient practice opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience with endovascular treatments of aortic, peripheral, and carotid disease, and have an interest in advancing an emerging vascular surgery program. We are passionate about promoting and teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient and inpatient setting
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with aortic, peripheral, and carotid disease
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the vascular surgery program
- Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen (non-citizens may be considered in accordance with VA policy)
- Must have a current, active, unencumbered U.S. state medical license
- Board certification or board eligibility in vascular surgery sub-specialty preferred
- Preference for experience in endovascular aortic, peripheral, and carotid disease treatments
