Job Description
As a senior physician for primary care at Curative, you will be responsible for providing traditional primary care services to older adults. This includes managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, as well as mild cognitive impairment and coronary artery disease. You will also work closely with our support staff, including nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and registered nurses, to ensure seamless patient care.
Schedule Details
This position offers a predictable schedule with no call requirements, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality care. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with the option for a 4-day workweek. Credentialing is approximately 2 weeks, ensuring a smooth transition into your new role.
Cases & Procedures
In this role, you will manage complex cases involving older adults, including those with multiple comorbidities. While procedures are not performed, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans that prioritize patient-centered care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional care to seniors. Board certification in family medicine or internal medicine is required.
